Twitter Boss reported to Gardai over hateful Account targeting Irish Journalist
A Twitter Account entitled "Evil Nazi O'Doherty" which describes former Irish Independent Journalist of 20 years Gemma O'Doherty as "an Evil Woman , a failed journalist , leader of the Irish Nazi Party. " and encourages targeted harassment of Ms O'Doherty has been allowed to continue despite an acceptance by the Company that it breaches its rules on 'Hateful Conduct' .
The Account @CrazyGemmaOD1 which has over 800 followers and dates back to 2015 is regularly reported to twitter for Breach of its Rules regarding Abusive Profile Information and Hateful Conduct.
Earlier this Month , a Twitter investigation found that the Account broke its rules on "Hateful Conduct" which states .. "You may not use your username, display name, or profile bio to engage in abusive behavior, such as targeted harassment or expressing hate towards a person, group, or protected category " . However , that decision appears to have been over-ruled by someone else at Twitter and the Account remains active to date .
Twitter Rules on abusive profile information clearly state that accounts that use "abusive slurs or epithets" in their profile username or description are in breach of company policy..
You may not use your username, display name, or profile bio to engage in abusive behavior, such as targeted harassment or expressing hate towards a person, group, or protected category.

Abusive slurs , epithets, racist, or sexist tropes
