Varadkar - 'Migrants more likely to work and pay tax than irish

Leo Varadkar speaking to the Dail during leaders questions says that Migrants are 'more likely to be working , more likely to be paying tax than the average Irish Person' .

One in six people were not born in Ireland , relative to other countries thats a very high level , its higher than Britain , Germany , France and the Netherlands . Migrants are so well integrated into our labour market in fact more likely to be working than the average Irish Person and more likely to be paying tax than the average Irish Person and I was at a very good project the other day as to how we can encourage migrants who are not part of the labour market to become involved in it . We have actually done quite well relative to other countries when you consider one in six people are not born here and us becoming a  net inward migration quite suddenly , to suddenly become a country with very significant inward migration

Is there anyone this man varadkar has not insulted yet . The amount of anti irish bigotry emanating from Dail Eireann is very disturbing
#
supposing this was true , its not something to brag about , i mean are we being priced out of the labour market , is there discrimination against us in the labour market , why is this happening . all very serious questions but no , he sees it as a good thing .
#
good old anti irish racism by An Taoiseach . The undercurrent here is that Irish people are lazy . Imagine If his statement was reversed and he said Irish people were more likely to work and pay tax than Immigrants , you can be 100% sure that there would be an outcry from all the Migrant NGOs and he would made to apologise . But once the racism is directed against Irish People its perfectly acceptable . sickening .
#
its true , if he said this about any other ethnic group he'd be castigated but so long as its just the irish , nothing like a bit of good old anti irish bigotry from your taoiseach .
#
There is no doubt now , Varadkar is clearly anti irish , the media kick up a fuss about Peter Casey , but golden boy Varadkar can get away with anything he likes because he supports the takeover of Ireland .
#
Meanwhile , Irish Nurses and teachers etc are being forced to emigrate to get a decent wage that will afford them to buy a house and maybe start a family and simply live their lives which they cant do anymore in their own country and Mr Varadkar seems to be happy about this and takes pleasure in it .
