Prominent Fianna Fail member quits calling party a 'Dictatorship'

November seems to be the month for people quitting political parties with the departure of peadar toibin from sinn fein a fortnight ago .
Now a prominent Fianna Fail activist in Cavan Kristopher Shekleton has announced he is quitting Fianna Fail describing the party as 'a dictatorship' adding that the party is 'going backwards' .
In a radio interview with Northern Sound , Mr Shekleton said :
Mr Shekleton has been very critical of Michael Martin's stance on abortion and during the referendum campaign to repeal the 8th amendment had stated that Martin had "given the proverbial two fingers to me by saying he will personally vote to repeal" .

The Fianna Fail party under the current leadership of Michael Martin and his advisors and those in HQ has become a dictatorship , the party has become stagnant , its going nowhwere , there is no way the party is moving forward , in fact it could be moving backwards

he's right , Mr Shekleton has just found out what the rest of us have been thinking for some time , fianna fail is indeed a dictatorship . well done to him for resigning .
