The Dangers Posed to Ireland by the extreme Left
But Lets Look at what you are really voting for .
People Before Profit Election Manifesto 2016 - abortion
We believe that access to abortion is a fundamental human right for women, and crucial to women’s economic and social independence.
We believe abortion should be available country-wide and provided free through the health service.
PBP is committed to:
1. Supporting the repeal of the 8th amendment to the Constitution and calls for a referendum in 2016
2. Providing access to free abortion, North and South of the border
Socialist Party Position on Abortion
The denial of abortion rights is misogynistic. It is a condemnation of women who have sex for pleasure. If a woman becomes pregnant accidentally and the state forces that pregnancy on her unwillingly it is torture.
A victory in the struggle to repeal the 8th amendment would be historic. This struggle needs to flow into a struggle for a properly funded secular public health service in which abortion will be provided for free
People Before Profit Election Manifesto 2016 - Asylum Seekers
People Before Profit rejects the idea that there is a particular link between Islam and terrorism
PBP will seek to overcome all instances and causes of racism through
Ireland welcoming refugees and ensuring the necessary funding and resources are made available
Ending the practice of deporting asylum seekers
The Fact that they use an 'upside down cross with a fist' to represent their views says it all . Everything appears to be a fight against christianity and traditionalism describing the abortion Act 2013 as a "DEFEAT FOR CONSERVATISM AND THE CATHOLIC CHURCH"
While it would be hard to say that the legislation was a ‘victory’ for women and for the Left generally, it was certainly a defeat for conservatism and for the Catholic Church.
They dont care much for the Irish flag either .
Recently in Fingal , PBP Councillor Matthew Waine opposed a motion to fly the Irish Flag outside the Fingal Council saying - "I would prefer to see the red flag outside county hall here, maybe in the future that will be the case . I come from the tradition which doesn't see the country of your birth being anything really significant " .
Perhaps , they could rename the party and call it The National Socialist Irish Workers Party , In Germany it was the Jews , In Ireland its the Catholics again and the unborn child .
Whether he ever said it or not , is not important , the point is very very true . Whether its in the street you see them or in their local office , you must make your voice heard and tell them .
For example , in Ballyfermot , I know for a fact that a lot of people are against abortion but do they say this to Brid Smith when they see her in the streets pacing with her head down . Sadly many dont because of the groupthink mentality that now prevails in Irish Society . Its time to break free .
