The dashing Donegal forward earned 8,203 votes on the Official GAA Instagram page with Kerry's Stephen O'Brien second and Clare's Gary Brennan third.

Jamie Brennan delivered a dynamic display as Donegal retained the Ulster SFC title at St Tiernach's Park.

The in form Donegal forward was at his brilliant best scoring 1-4 for Declan Bonner's outfit.

Stephen O'Brien was an influential figure as Kerry claimed a seventh Munster SFC on the spin against Cork on Saturday evening.

Selfless throughout O'Brien clipped two points and was involved in the creation of several other scores for Peter Keane's charges.

Gary Brennan was inspirational for Clare as Colm Collins' team advanced to Round Three of the All Ireland SFC Qualifiers.

The Clondegad clubman contributed 1-3 for Clare, who proved too strong for Leitrim at Avantcard Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
