Prestigious award for hurling photo

Sportsfile's Brendan Moran has received a prestigious award for a brilliant photograph taken during last year's All Ireland SHC Final at Croke Park.

Tipperary's John McGrath and Kilkenny's Huw Lawlor collide during the decider.

On Wednesday it was announced that at the Pictures of the Year International awards ceremony that Moran's image was successful.

The Pictures of the Year International awards promotes the work of photographers and photo journalists.
