President Michael D pays respects to Antonio Gramsci - founder of Communist Party of Italy

Continuing his Tour of Rome President Michael D Higgins stopped at the grave of Antonio Gramsci and paid his respect to the man who founded and led the Italian Communist Party in the 1920s . Antonio Gramsci (1891 – 1937) founded the Communist Party of Italy in 1921 and was one of the world's most prominant Marxist philosophers of the 20th century . While serving time in prison - Gramsci wrote about destroying Christianity and replacing it with Socialism which will... "triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society" Any country grounded in Judaeo-Christian values can’t be overthrown

Election 2020 : Renua Ireland finalize 11 Candidates for General Election

Election 2020 : Renua Ireland finalize 11 Candidates for General Election
Renua Ireland at free speech rally in dublin
Renua Ireland has confirmed it has 11 Candidates now running in Elections 2020 .

The Party founded in 2015 by former Fine Gael TD Lucinda Creighton  describes itself as .. "a patriotic and socially conservative party that stands for the protection and promotion of the things that are essential to our individual and collective quality of life: strong families, safe communities and an independent country that is prosperous and run fairly for the benefit of all"

In recent times , the party has been to the forefront of defending freedom of speech in Ireland opposing proposed plans to introduce new speech laws later this year stating that ...  "
In a democracy, alternative points of view must be respected. RENUA are against the use of ‘political correctness’ to bully and censor people. We are against the spread of political censorship by the State, mainstream media and 'Big Tech'.  We oppose the government's plans to introduce so called ‘hate speech’ laws to silence genuine and important political debate about topics that politicians and certain interest groups may find ‘sensitive’ ".

In 2018 , the party was actively involved in the Save the 8th and Love Both Campaigns to protect Ireland's 8th amendment .

The Party is founded on six core principles :
Six core principles of Renua:

1) Law and Order - For far too long the Irish Justice system has pushed the victims of crime and their families to the side in the rush to ‘understand’ and be fair to the criminal. RENUA will end that practice and will put the victims of crime and their families at the centre of our criminal justice system"

2) TAXPAYER FIRST - Renua believes in putting the taxpayer first by focusing on reducing taxes; respecting every Euro of taxpayers’ money; highlighting and eliminating wasteful expenditure of taxpayers’ hard-earned cash.

 3) ENTERPRISE - Ireland is home to 250,000 Irish Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) employing over a million people. While Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) receives a lot of attention, RENUA believes that it is necessary for the Government to focus on measures to help our home-grown, Irish-owned enterprises to grow and prosper

4) PRO-LIFE - Renua believes in the dignity of every human being. We believe that the right to life is the most fundamental right of all and the right from which all other human rights flow. We believe that the family is the single greatest unit for the nurturing and development of children. The family unit is under constant attack from the ‘Progressive Left’ however RENUA will protect and defend traditional family values.

5) COHESIVE SOCIETY - Renua believes that social cohesion is the willingness of all of us in society to cooperate with each other in order to be safe, secure and prosper together. We need to create a better future for all the people, our families and our communities. In making social cohesion a pillar RENUA is proposing a transformative society that will raise the living standards and quality of life for everyone.

6) NATION STATE - Renua Ireland believes in the nation state and will defend Ireland’s sovereignty. RENUA will place Ireland’s interest first against all others. We are against further integration of the EU and believe strongly that the EU works best when member countries are recognised fully as sovereign nations coming together voluntarily to promote economic co-operation rather than as a stepping stone to a federal Europe.

dublin bay south has some good alternatives now in terms of Ben Scallon (irish freedom) and Jacqui gilbourne (renua) , two excellent choices for people fed up with the mainstream dogma
