Fianna Fail to grant residency to 30 000 illegal migrants

Fianna Fail to grant residency to 30 000 illegal migrants
A recent Bill Proprosed by Fianna Fail called the "Migrant Earned Regularisation Bill" aims to grant residency to 30 000 illegal migrants living in Ireland. (PDF)

The Bill involves creating an ongoing scheme whereby illegal immigrants including those convicted of prison sentences of up to 12 months will be allowed to "reside within the State, enter employment ,engage in a course of education, training , travel to and from the State , medical care and social welfare benefits "

Every Scheme will be published in at least two daily newspapers and all illegal Migrants who are living in Ireland for 22 out of the 24 month period prior to the annoucement of a scheme will be eligible to participate . The Minister at his discretion can waver this period and also ignore any false documents that an applicant has submitted .

Fianna Fail should have no shortage of takers for their scheme .As this Video below shows thousands of illegal Migrants are awaiting in the French Town of Calais to get to places that are soft touches on immigration . The People in this video try to board Lorries destined for the UK . Do we want to send a message to these people that Ireland is a soft touch , if so , it is most likely we will become an attractive location for these people .

Fianna Fail Justice Spokesman Niall Collins says :

I think there is broad agreement accross all the parties in relation to the principles in it .

The rationale of this is that it is the right thing to do.

There are 25,000 to 30,000 people in Ireland who are undocumented. Do you ignore the problem or try to deal with the problem

However , One would have to query this logic , how are we dealing with the problem of illegal Migrants by sending a message to the whole wide world that being illegal in Ireland is ok , and if you are illegal we will reward you under this new scheme .

Surely , "the right thing to do" would be to recruit more Gardai to deal with the problem of illegal Migrants , to have better border controls and better customs controls in place . To enforce the laws of the land instead of watering them down .

As it stands , our public services cannot even cope with the existing population , why would anybody want to make the problem even worse by opening the floodgates to illegal Migrants .

i see 'fine' fail want the citizens assembly to legalize cannabis for children . instead of sending the message that Drugs are wrong , fine fail want to send the message that its ok for children to be taking drugs , going to school stoned etc . disgusting

^
fine fail are plastering my area with election posters . one candidate has SIX posters side by side at two seperate locations . there is no need for this . it makes the area look dirty and is a waste of our taxes . they must be getting desperate now

Immigrants legal or illegal, know that Ireland is a soft touch and have the backing of all the do gooders.Immigration, great idea, complaining about it racism. This is the mantra in Ireland from government. We took in Christians fleeing from Muslims in Nigeria and now we are taking Muslims fleeing from other Muslims.Bet the Nigerian Christians are not happy about the Muslim invasion either. One big powder keg is waiting to explode in Ireland. Islam has no place in the West, and will be the death of Europe.Time to ban the practice of Islam in Ireland.

possibly the worst thing any country can do , give an inch and they'll take a yard .

illegal migrants are people who knowingly break the laws of a country , what other laws are they prepared to break

employers who hire illegal migrants are also breaking the laws of the land , what other laws are these employers prepared to break .

both illegal migrants and employers who hire illegal migrants should feel the full force of the law , they are law breakers and should never be rewarded .

To report migrants working illegally in Ireland email:

inspection@ employmentrights.ie

You may do so anonymously if you wish

together we can punish the law breakers and get them out of ireland

what is wrong with people in Ireland .

its 2016 , the centenary of the 1916 rising when heroic people gave their lives for a sovereign ireland owned by the irish people .

yet , irish people go out and vote in large numbers for politicians who gave our political sovereignty away to Brussels . Many of these politicians dont even believe in ireland anymore .

why ? why would you vote for them ?
