Clondalkin - State signs initial 3 month contract for Asylum Accommodation Centre at Dolcain House Office Complex
Clondalkin - Dolcain House - State entered initial 3 month contract with developer for asylum seeker accommodation
The State has entered into an initial three month rental contract with Randalswood Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of the McGrath Group for use of the Dolcain House Office Complex in Clondalkin as an Accommodation Centre for Asylum Seekers .

The Building located on the Monastery Road close to Clondalkin Village Centre is the former HQ of Siac Construction which still operates an Asphalt Production Plant on the adjacent site.

In 2020 / 2021, owners Randalswood Holdings
were refused planning permission by South Dublin County Council (SD19A/0324)  and An Bord Pleanala (PL06S.306409 for conversion of the offices into residential use, while in November , a strategic housing pre-application (TC06S.310416 for residential use was rejected by the Bord which raised concerns about air and noise pollution resulting from the adjacent Asphalt Production Plant which operates 24-7.

The Dolcain House Office Complex is the fourth Asylum Accommodation Centre in Clondalkin. All Located within a 2km radius, the other centres include The Towers Hotel on the Ninth Lock Road which has been accommodating 200 asylum seekers since 2006, the Red Cow Moran Hotel which opened its doors to 358 asylum seekers in January and the IBIS Hotel which rents part of its room base to the state.

this was reported to Planning enforcement at South Dublin County Council on 13th September and so far they've taken no action against the state despite a clear breach of the planning laws. Then they wonder why so many people have lost faith in the planning system.

^
Dolcain House DP centre . wait and see, this is going to get permanent . they're landing Clondalkin with yet another Direct Provision Centre. its very unfair not to mention the fact that none of these people are vetted and most arrive in Ireland from Safe Countries that are not even at war but they all get sent to Ireland and places like Clondalkin because the wealthy areas wont have any of it

do we not have any border controls anymore ? I mean there are limits to what we can cope with and that limit has long since passed, more and more homeless yet government keep bringing in more and more people. its going to be a miserable society for everyone , resources are overcrowded , health system , education system, housing , social welfare , everything collapsing around us , inflation cost of living . we need to stop virtue signalling and cop ourselves on.
^
its very unfair on clondalkin , a third direct provision centre. and its unsuitable housing people in an office building with no proper facilites not to mention the safety of locals , Martin already admitted in a BBC interview that nobody is vetted coming in Ireland. This is crazy and very dangerous for everyone. people need to be vetted coming in , we need to know whos living in our communities.
^
the safety and welfare of the community should be at the fore in making these decisions but sadly the community usually come last , dont even get informed or notified about whats going on.
