Three people were taken to hospital on Monday following a fight between Georgian and Algerian Asylum Seekers at the Citywest Hotel Accommodation Centre in Dublin.
Gardai said they were called to the scene of a public order incident at Citywest following a disturbance involving a group of males . "Three people were taken from the scene to hospital for assessment and treatment to minor injuries"
Video footage taken at the scene described the incident as a "big fight between Georgian and Algerians".
The incident comes just weeks after a group of Georgian and Algerian asylum seekers appeared in Court in Killarney charged with violent disorder following a knife brawl at the Hotel Killarneyin Kerry at which they were staying.
Figures from the International Protection Office show that Georgian and Algerian Asylum Seekers were the top two nationalites claiming asylum in Ireland in 2022.
