Enoch Burke Case - Bishop Patricia Storey should do the Christian thing and withdraw Injunction against Teacher Burke

The Church of Ireland’s first female Bishop Revd Patricia Storey, who is Patron of Wilson's Hospital School in Westmeath has an important role to play in what happens to Jailed Teacher Enoch Burke who has entered his third Month behind bars following a row with school management over his refusal to use transgender pronouns.
Teacher Burke was jailed on September 5th after the Board of Management which is headed by Bishop Storey applied to the High Court for an order of commital to have teacher Burke imprisoned over an employment dispute that could have been solved amicably.
With Christmas around the corner in the spirit of goodwill, Bishop Patricia Storey has the power in her hands to direct that the injunction against teacher Burke be withdrawn.
Wilson's hospital school could simply apply to the High Court to have their initial injunction withdrawn . This would mean that teacher Burke is no longer in breach of any injunction which would mean the High Court would have to order his release from Prison.
If anyone should understand how important people's religious beliefs are to them, its Bishop Storey. Clearly teacher Burke is a man of great courage and conviction. His willingness to defy the court and stay indefinitely at MountJoy Prison to defend his religious beliefs is quite remarkable in this day and age .
Its time for Wilson's Hospital School to do the Christian thing which is to sit down with teacher Burke and talk through all the issues and come to some sort of amicable understanding.
I mean, What would Jesus do. Is it the Christian thing to stand over the imprisonment of teacher Burke ? How could a true christian enjoy christmas knowing the suffering being inflicted on another. Its time to release Burke and do the christian thing.
