Letters : Green Party proposals to add between 3.6 million to 40 million people to our population would skyrocket carbon emissions

Between 3.6 million to 40 million people could be added to Ireland's population according to comments made by Green Party members - Councillor Dan Boyle and Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan.

Dan Boyle, a Green Party Councillor in Cork who is leader of the Green Group and  EU Climate Pact Ambassador said Ireland could accommodate 45 million people and is "far from full" , Mr Boyle made the remarks in disagreement with others who believed Ireland was full and needed to control its borders. Green Party leader Eamon Ryan had previously used a figure of 10 million people. Speaking in the Dail Mr Ryan had said .. "we have to start planning for being an Island of 10 million people and among that bringing in people as refugees in scale" (video below)

However , Mr Ryan and Mr Boyle have been criticised by some who have  pointed out that Carbon emissions would skyrocket under such  large scale immigration .

African Countries which are the source of most refugee claims have very low carbon emissions , in Nigeria for example, the carbon footprint per person is just 0.57 tonnes compared to 13.2 tonnes per person in Ireland (23 times more in Ireland) .

This means that If you bring someone from Africa to Ireland you Increase their carbon emissions by 23 times !! . If you bring 3.4 - 40 million to Ireland , carbon emissions would skyrocket.

^
did he tell the people of cork he wants an extra 40 million people in Ireland when so many are struggling to find accommodation as it is. we cant even cope with the existing population and these guys isn the greens want another 40 million.
Is it a crime to look after your own family's needs first before others? Send your children into random houses to be fed..duh.Let strangers enter and take over your house..duh. House and feed all before your own family..duh. Oh, God forbid, they might call you RACIST ! A strong Family is a strong community is a strong town, strong City, strong Country...But when Irish People expect this.....it's wrong! WHY? It's the norm in Asia,Africa,Middle East and most if not all those countries the parasites hail from to BLUDG in Eire because they cannot/ will not in their places of Origen.Your Govt.does not care, the Church does not care, the world may not care...but do you care! F..k them,if making you feel guilty or racist because that's all they want is not the same when it's too late and you've been replaced....it will happen...they've tried before....wasted the last 100 yrs....but they have achieved divide and conquer...STOP THE ROT
^
