Bloody Sunday remembered
By Cian Murphy
The GAA remembers the 14 innocent victims of the attack on Croke Park on Bloody Sunday which occurred on this day in 1920.
The tragic loss of life at Croke Park as a result of an attack by Crown Forces on those attending a Dublin v Tipperary football match was the darkest day in our history and altered forever our association with the venue on Joness Road.
Today, 102 years on, we remain committed to ensuring they are not forgotten.
Cuimhnmis orthu uilig. We remember them all.
