Two first half goals from Eoin Hackett helped to steer SETU Carlow to a 2-9 to 0-12 Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup success over MTU Kerry.
Billy O'Loughlin's team led 2-4 to 0-5 at the break with Offaly's Cian Farrell also contributing handsomely.
Farrell rifled over three points for SETU Carlow as MTU Kerry were defeated.
At Tuam Stadium UCC finished with a real flourish to knock ATU Galway out of the competition.
A spirited ATU Galway outfit just weren't clinical enough against UCC, who struck for a goal when Sen O'Connor reacted smartly following a Jack Livingstone save from substitute Cathail O'Mahony.
Dylan Geaney clipped six points for UCC, while Cathal Begley registered two from play.
