Broadcasting Complaint upheld over remark describing JK Rowling as "transphobic bigot"
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has upheld a complaint against Today FM's The last Word with Matt Cooper show in relation to a remark describing British Author JK Rowling as a "transphobic bigot" . The complaint related to a broadcast last september in which panel members were discussing tweets made by Jedward alleging JK rowling was transphobic . In the course of the discussion , one of the panel members stated that JK Rowling had become a βtransphobic bigotβ The complainant claimed that this statement was not challenged by the presenter or any of the other panellists , it was a very serious accusation
