Man Jailed over Mask row on Bus
An Anti Mask campaigner has been sentenced to two months in prison for refusing to wear a face mask on public transport . Castlebar District Court was shown Video Footage of the incident in which the defendant , Mr Andrew Heasman of Knock , Co Mayo got into a heated argument with Gardai after being reported by the Bus Driver for not wearing a face mask . Judge Fiona Lydon described Mr Heasman's behaviour as 'totally inappropriate" and s entenced him to two months in prison for an offence of failing to wear a face mask on public transport at an incident in Ballyhaunis on July 14 .
